About a year and a half ago, I met a guy named Pasha and we decided to start a microphone company together. I had long admired the amazing engineers and scientists that came out of Russia's Soviet period. I had used Russian mics in the past and always thought they sounded really nice. Pasha and I thought that if we could combine this Russian technology with western design, marketing and quality control, we might be able to produce microphones that were truly unique in and of very high quality. Thus was born Soyuz Microphones! A lot has happened in the short time since our company was founded. We've developed 2 different tube mics, the SU-017 and the SU-011. The feedback we've been getting has been way beyond even what we had hoped for. This has been an amazing adventure and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for Soyuz.
